The day was cold and blustery, and at one point we saw snowflakes flying. When some of the group went back to their hotels to rest up for an evening
out, several of us adjourned to the Billy Goat Tavern to inspect the Old Style. Cloud Gate, a polished stainless steel sculpture by Anish Kapoor. It's better known as the Bean.

No, it's not a pigeon warmer. The Eternal Flame in Daley Plaza was dedicated in 1972 to veterans of WWI, WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
